About HantaHub

HantaHub is a public information tracker for hantavirus updates. It separates official outbreak and surveillance records from broader news coverage because article mentions can move faster than confirmed public health data.

Official events come from sources such as WHO Disease Outbreak News, CDC hantavirus and NNDSS material, PAHO alerts, and ECDC threat updates when relevant. News signals are collected separately through global news search and are labeled as signals.

The tracker refreshes every 6 hours in production. If a source cannot be reached, the site keeps showing the last successful data and exposes freshness through source dates and fetched timestamps.

HantaHub is not a medical service and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or individualized health advice. Follow local public health guidance and contact a medical professional for health concerns.
